EPISODE 8

Many years passed. Monty came back home from remand home. He along with Kaya and parents had sumptuous dinner at a posh Mumbai restaurant followed by ice-cream. Monty was already fifteen years old. So he began studying for his SSC exams. Mohini had bought a very good online coaching classes package for him. Her mother Suprabha devi came over to personally take care of Monty. Kaya was the apple of Vivek's eye. She was a very focused girl. She had decided to go for a Master degree in business management just like her mother.
     Both passed with good grades. Monty got enrolled in a prestigious Mumbai college. Kaya got admission in yet another prestigious college in Mumbai. Monty continued to do yoga and meditation daily, a practice which started in the remand home. With mental strength and personal supervision of grandma, Monty became a man with enormous mental strength. As soon as Monty came out of remand home, Mohini stationed a CCTV camera in his room. With their laptops and iPhones she and Vivek could easily supervise their son and all his online activities. Monty finished his BBM(Graduation in Business Management) and joined his father's business and Kaya got herself enrolled in a prestigious MBA college in Mumbai itself.
     She was in the third semester, when her heart fell for Vikrant, who was her best friend Latika's older brother. He was working in the Indian Air Force. Although Monty knew about their affair, he kept his mum as per the promise he made to sister Kaya. The youngsters often went out for trips in far away jungle or picturesque beach areas. Mostly there used to be a ten member group along with the guide.
     One such outing was to Ranthambore national park, Rajasthan. Two days had already passed in the in all four days and five nights trip.

As they left, there was a very big smile on Mohini and Vivek's face. The matter was closed outside court. With the massive compensation amount, each and everything in her company was remade. Within a few months, work restarted in her fields. Everything became normal again. After meeting the psychiatrist, the child felt better and more confident about life and parents. The family jetted off to a quick  rejuvenating trip to Kashmir and came back after one week. Of course the child was very very happy.      It was the twins' tenth birthday. The birthday was celebrated with much fanfare. Monty received two books as gift from their neighbour Vijay Sethi. 'All the basics and step-by-step guide to coding' and 'kids guide to create a computer program'. He was doing his PhD in robotics from Mumbai University.
